Dilla Day LA 2025 [Film + Flicks]

What an honor. What a night. Thank you Dilla Day LA!!! To be able to pay tribute to my favorite Hip-Hop producer of all time alongside so many of his closest collaborators, family, and friends is something I will never forget. Favorite moment of the night other than my set tho? Moms meeting Ma Dukes. Low key mind blowing and emotional for me to watch them talk. Just two mothers who embraced and carved out the space, respectfully, for each of their son’s creativity. Thank you to everyone that pulled up. So good to see so many old friends and making new ones in our LA Hip-Hop scene. BIG shouts out Scooby, Amanda Wright, and the whole Rhymefest LA for the opportunity. Long Live J Dilla… Turn It Up!
